I used 3 balls per scarf and the sedge stitch with a J-10 (6mm) hook.
R1 Ch 21
R2 (hdc,dc) in 2nd st from hook, *sk 2 st, (sc,hdc,dc) in next st* repeat until last 3 st. For last 3 st: sk 2 st, sc in last st.
Ch 1 before turning (counts as sc in the first (sc,hdc,dc) trio). Repeat row 2 until desired length.
